The chiquita, a shot played at the feet of your opponent. This shot is used by many players and is meant to take over the net position. It is a slow ball which gives you and your partner time to come to the net. A well played Chiquita will force your opponent to play the ball up so you can be more aggressive on the next ball

When to play the Chiquita?

Choose the right ball to play the Chiquita. There’s no point in playing the Chiquita when you’re with your back against the back glass. You can play it on a relatively easy ball by your opponent. Wait for them to play the ball up and come forward to the net position.
