How to hit a good padel return after the glass?

Many players struggle to return a good padel serve after the glass and often end up making a mistake, but with a few tips, this shot can become a lot easier!

As with most shots, players struggle with 2 main areas: the early preparation and confidence in using the glass.

If you panic and throw yourself at the ball (or freeze on the spot), you will always find this doesn’t go where you want it! Even though it might feel strange at first to give the ball space to rebound and follow these tips, please give it a try!

This shot is considered playing after the side glass because it also happens during the point sometimes where the ball goes in at that angle. If it goes in at that angle and it is deeper, you might want to consider letting it hit the 2nd glass before playing the ball.
