These steps will help you by your backhand half-volley

  • Make a split step landing as soon as the ball is approaching you
  • Take your racket back and start turning your shoulders
  • Bend your knees and hips
  • Set a wider base for your feet
  • Short take back of your racket
  • Make sure to have your hands separate and make a compact swing forward
  • Make contact with the ball in the middle of your racket in line with the front hip.
  • Keep your chest low and stable
