The TPS Certified Coach programme is designed for coaches who already understand the game and are ready to turn that knowledge into confident, effective coaching on court.
Building on the Online Coach Certification, this four-day practical course gives you the opportunity to put the TPS methodology into practice, develop your delivery and receive expert feedback on your coaching.
You’ll leave better equipped to plan sessions, communicate clearly, identify what players need and help them make meaningful improvements.

Practical Padel Coach Certification
Move from coaching theory to confident delivery on court
Knowing what to coach is only part of becoming a great coach. You also need to recognise what is happening in front of you, communicate effectively and adapt your session to the players on court.
Across four days of practical learning, you’ll develop your ability to:
- Structure and deliver effective coaching sessions
- Observe players and identify areas for improvement
- Give clear, useful and actionable feedback
- Adapt exercises to different players and abilities
- Manage groups and create an engaging learning environment
- Apply the TPS methodology confidently on court
The programme combines practical coaching, observation, discussion and feedback, giving you repeated opportunities to practise your skills and improve your delivery.
Four-Day Practical Padel Coach Training
Learn, practise and apply the TPS methodology on court
Day 1: Coaching Foundations
Learn how to structure individual and group lessons using clear coaching frameworks.
Develop effective communication, observation and analysis skills, while being introduced to the TPS technical and tactical frameworks.
Day 2: Tactical & Technical Frameworks
Develop your understanding of court safety, session organisation, the STEP framework and effective error correction.
Practise feeding, drill delivery and adapting exercises to different player abilities.
Day 3: Practical Delivery
Apply the methodology through games, conditioned activities and coached sessions.
Learn to manage different group sizes, maintain player involvement and adapt activities effectively.
Day 4: Assessment & Development
Complete your live coaching assessment and receive structured feedback on your performance.
Leave with an individual development plan outlining your strengths, priorities and next steps.

Learn the methodology behind world-class padel coaching
The TPS Certified Coach programme has been designed by Sandy Farquharson to help coaches deliver structured, effective sessions using The Padel School methodology.
Sandy is one of the world’s most highly qualified padel coaches. He has represented and captained Great Britain, competed on the World Padel Tour and spent almost two decades coaching players from complete beginners to professionals.
His Master’s degree in Biomechanics has helped shape an approach built around clear communication, purposeful progression and efficient player improvement.
That experience runs throughout the programme. You will learn how to structure lessons, identify what is holding a player back and select the right progression to create meaningful improvement on court.

- Playtomic rating of 4.0 or above
- Completed Online Coach Certification (Level 1)
- Coaching experience helpful but not essential
- Attendance on all four days
- At least 18 years old
- Training and assessment delivered in English
