Backhand half-volley
These steps will help you by your backhand half-volley
- Make a split step landing as soon as the ball is approaching you
- Take your racket back and start turning your shoulders
- Bend your knees and hips
- Set a wider base for your feet
- Short take back of your racket
- Make sure to have your hands separate and make a compact swing forward
- Make contact with the ball in the middle of your racket in line with the front hip.
