Padel and the Wider Racket-Sport Market
Pickleball had already shown how quickly a social racket sport could build a large audience in the United States.
Padel faces a different challenge because it requires a purpose-built enclosed court, but the wider appetite for accessible racket sports was encouraging.

Padel can be enjoyable relatively quickly because four players share a compact court and rallies can develop before every participant has perfect technique.
That accessibility, combined with the social nature of doubles, gives clubs a strong foundation for building communities around the game.
